Urbit Visor reimagines the developer experience by combining structured data exploration with a clean, intuitive interface tailored for modern workflows. Built for developers in the Urbit ecosystem, this concept presents a focused JSON graph viewer designed to make complex navigation simple and user-friendly.
The main interface centers on the graph-store browser, complete with breadcrumb navigation and a fully formatted JSON output panel. On the left, the sidebar features essential tools like Terminal, Poke, Scry, and Thread. Each tool is visually distinct and clearly positioned, with the active “Scry” view highlighted in green for quick recognition.
In the core viewer, color-coded JSON is displayed with syntax highlighting, organized indentation, and action buttons for copying data. Above, the breadcrumb trail provides full path visibility, such as graph-store > /keys > /root > graph-update > keys[3], helping users stay oriented within deeply nested structures.
The design follows a dark, minimal aesthetic, using rounded corners, soft shadows, and a native macOS layout to deliver both clarity and elegance. Every element is designed to support focus and flow, providing a smooth experience whether you’re debugging, inspecting, or exploring data.
Urbit Visor is more than a viewer. It represents a thoughtful approach to developer tools that prioritizes usability, precision, and visual coherence, making data feel approachable and powerful in equal measure.
